Prof. Dr. Thomas Risse is professor of international politics at the Otto-Suhr-Institute for Political Science. He has previously taught at the European University Institute and at leading US universities, among them Cornell, Yale, Stanford, and Harvard universities. He is the co-ordinator of the Collaborative Research Center “Governance in Areas of Limited Statehood” funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
