The Transworld Consortium held its second plenary meeting at Chatham House, London, on April 25-26. The two-day event offered the opportunity to take stock of the progress made so far in the research developed by the different Work Packages and to discuss the future steps the project will take. The Steering Group Meeting was followed by a public conference on April 26 on “The Transatlantic Relationship: Still Leaders in a Changing World?”, which examined how bilateral relations between the EU and the US are affected by the internal and external economic challenges, the competition for energy resources and the threats and opportunities posed by emerging actors on the global stage.
